Our Programs & Activities Will Guide Your Teen Through Rehab
The level of care for your teen is dependent on how much support they need. This is determined during the initial assessment with our medical director, clinical director, and admissions director who is a licensed social worker. Once your teen is admitted, our program director and team of clinicians will continue to monitor your teen’s needs and will provide ongoing assessments to ensure they continue in the appropriate type of care.
Family participation is a vital part of our program and Family Systems Therapy is the bedrock of our treatment. In addition to a formal program orientation, parents will be included in the creation of the treatment plan and participate in weekly family therapy sessions (in person or remotely). We additionally provide multi family group, family support and family education on alternating weeks.
Our residential programs accommodate a maximum of 6 clients at a time in each home. Our numbers are kept small in order to ensure the highest quality of care and support. The program capacity at our IOP and PHP levels of care is 12. The maximum number of clients in a therapeutic group is 12.
All teens are different and all programs like us that provide treatment care are different. As parents, we know there is no better way to determine the best program for your child than by meeting us and getting a feel for who we are and what we do. However, we specifically excel in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, self-injury, all forms of substance use, internet addiction, and LGBTQ+ supportive services to name a few of our most common cases. Destinations is also proud to provide support for all teens and families regardless of where they fall on the gender/sexuality spectrum.
Yes. We are in-network with many major insurances and can work with most insurance plans. Please contact our admissions office to discuss how we can support you in getting the best coverage possible.
Our programs are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid policies.
You make the call and we will do the work. The process of enrolling in treatment begins with a phone call to our admissions department. Admissions will gather all necessary and important information about your child including your insurance information. If our clinical team believes we can help you and your teen we will move forward in scheduling an assessment and optional tour of the appropriate facility. From there, your benefit and/or payment options will be provided and our team will work towards getting insurance approval. We do our best to admit as soon as possible once insurance is approved.
We provide continued support and resources for our clients once they leave treatment through our Alumni Program. This valuable program is led by one of our licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. The goal of the Alumni Program is to encourage a supportive, empowering community where former clients continue to feel motivated and inspired to maintain their recovery and wellbeing. Alumni events occur weekly and include sobriety birthday celebrations, support groups, alumni panels, and expressive arts events.
